ShortWebDescription :
GRO Alpha antibody LS-C104351 is an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody to human GRO Alpha (CXCL1). Validated for ELISA and WB. Cited in 1 publication.
UsageText :
Immunohistochemistry: This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of human colon/rectum adenocarcinoma. The recommended concentration is 0.125 ug/ml-0.150 ug/ml with an overnight incubation at 4°C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a DAB chromogen. Heat induced antigen retrieval with a pH 6 sodium citrate buffer is recommended. Optimal concentrations and conditions may vary. Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND] of the biological activity of Human GRO/MGSA (100 ng/ml), a concentration of 1.5-3 ug/ml of this antibody is required. ELISA: To detect Human GRO/MGSA by sandwich ELISA (using 100 ul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5-2 ug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human GRO/MGSA (LS-C104350) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2-0.4 ng/well of recombinant Human GRO/MGSA. Western Blot: To detect Human GRO/MGSA by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant Human GRO/MGSA is 1.5-3 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.

Since 1995, LifeSpan has been the industry leader in molecular pathology, specializing in the localization of proteins in normal and diseased tissues, both human and non-human. We offer more than 74,000 antibodies, custom designed immunohistochemistry (IHC) studies, immediately available human tissue IHC profiles for more than 500 proteins, and histology and pathology services. Our bank of 2 million specimens is available to support our customers' contract research studies and contains frozen and formalin-fixed (FFPE) normal and diseased tissues. Our contract services are comprehensive; they include study design, antibody sourcing and characterization, tissue sourcing and validation, immunolabeling, trouble shooting, and interpretation of the results by a LifeSpan pathologist.
