Specificity :
This antibody is specific for phosphorylated human APC1 protein at the pS377 residue. A BLAST analysis was used to suggest reactivity with this protein from human, dog, rat, and bovine based on 100% homology for the immunogen sequence. Cross reactivity with APC1 protein from mouse is expected, as this sequence show 90% homologous between human and mouse. Cross reactivity with APC1 homologues from other sources has not been determined. Minimal reactivity is expected with the non-phosphorylated form of the protein.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B68 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B68 was determined to be 10 ug/ml.
