A BLAST analysis was used to suggest reactivity with this protein from mouse and rat sources based on 100% homology for the immunogen sequence. Cross-reactivity with PPAR delta protein from human, chimpanzee and rabbit may occur as this sequence shows 85% homology with the protein from these sources. Cross-reactivity with PPAR delta homologues from other sources has not been determined. No reactivity is expected against other subtypes of PPAR.

Immunohistochemistry: LS-B45 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B45 was determined to be 2.5 ug/ml.
