ShortWebDescription :
ENaC Gamma antibody LS-B3024 is an unconjugated goat polyclonal antibody to human ENaC Gamma (SCNN1G) (aa637-648). Validated for IHC and Peptide-ELISA. Tested on 20 paraffin-embedded human tissues.
UsageText :
Immunohistochemistry: LS-B3024 was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. The stained slides were evaluated by a pathologist to confirm staining specificity. The optimal working concentration for LS-B3024 was determined to be 4 ug/ml. Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:16000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 140 kD band in Human Breast cancer and Colon lysates after 1 ug/ml antibody staining. We cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 74.3kD according to NP_001030.2. The 140kD band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
