product information
Catalog Number :
KLR0135
Product Name :
GENLISA™ Rat IL-6 ELISA
Product Type :
ELISA
Size :
1 x 96 wells
List Price (USD) :
270 USD
Product Description :
This ELISA is intended for the quantitative detection of IL-6 in rat serum, cell cuture supernatant and plasma samples. ELISA Features include:- Ready to use protocol, Standardisation and High Reproducibility, Lot to Lot Consistency, Accuracy and Precision. Validated against seven points for a Gold Ring Standard Quality ELISA - the benchmark sign for Krishgen quality, Long shelf-life, Expert technical support. The GENLISA ELISA kits are used for assessing the specific biomarker in samples analytes which may be serum, plasma, biological fluids and cell culture supernatant. The kit employs a double-antibody sandwich ELISA technique which leads to higher specificity and increased sensitivity compared to conventional competitive ELISA kits which employ only one antibody.
SpeciesSummary :
Rat
Background :
The GENLISA™ ELISA kits are used for assessing the specific biomarker in samples analytes which may be serum, plasma and cell culture supernatant as validated with the kit. The kit employs a sandwich ELISA technique which leads to a higher specificity and increased sensitivity compared to conventional competitive ELISA kits which employ only one antibody. Double antibodies are used in this kit.
Packaging :
This ELISA kit comes with a pre-coated plate, concentrated or lyophilized standards, wash solution, subtrate, stop solution and all the required diluents. For the exact contents of the kit, please refer to the datasheet / IFU.
Storage :
2-8 Deg C
Calibration Range :
20 pg/ml - 320 pg/ml
Sensitivity :
17 pg/ml
Assay Principle :
The method employs a sandwich ELISA technique. Monoclonal antibodies are pre-coated onto microwells. Samples and standards are pipetted into microwells and analyte present in the sample are bound by the antibodies. Biotin labeled anti-analyte antibodies are added and followed by Streptavidin-HRP pipetting and incubation to form a complex. After washing microwells in order to remove any non-specific binding, the substrate solution (TMB) is added to microwells and color develops proportionally to the amount of analyte in the sample. Color development is then stopped by addition of stop solution. Absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
