The Palivizumab (Synagis) ELISA kit is intended for the quantitative determination of Palivizumab (Synagis) in serum, plasma and cell culture samples. RUO only. Pharmacokinetics (PK) is a branch of science dedicated to the quantitative analysis of absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drug molecules within the body of a living organism. All pre-clinical and clinical studies include the measurement of serum drug concentration, both in animals and in patients, at different points after drug administration. Certolizumab pegol (Cimzia(®)) is a recombinant, polyethylene glycolylated, antigen-binding fragment of a humanized monoclonal antibody that selectively targets and neutralizes tumour necrosis factor (TNF)-α.By blocking TNF-alpha, certolizumab pegol reduces inflammation and other symptoms of the diseases. The method employs the quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. Antibodies to Certolizumab pegol are pre-coated onto microwells. Samples and standards are pipetted into microwells and human Certolizumab pegol present in the sample are bound by the capture antibody. Then, a HRP (horseradish peroxidase) conjugated Anti-Certolizumab pegol is pipetted and incubated. After washing microwells in order to remove any non-specific binding, the ready to use substrate solution (TMB) is added to microwells and color develops proportionally to the amount of Certolizumab pegol in the sample. Color development is then stopped by addition of stop solution. Absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
