Description :
CYP2A13 belongs to the cytochrome P450 superfamily. These anzymes are monooxygenases which catalyze several reactions related to drug metabolism and to the synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. CYP2A13 is involved in the metabolism of 4-(methylnitrosamino)-1-(3-pyridyl)-1-butanone, a nitrosamine specific to tobacco.
Immunogen :
A synthesized peptide derived from human CYP2A13(Accession Q16696), corresponding to amino acid residues M318-M368.
