Description :
VGLU2 mediates the uptake of glutamate into synaptic vesicles at presynaptic nerve terminals of excitatory neural cells. This protein may also mediate the transport of inorganic phosphate.
Immunogen :
Synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal of the mouse VGLUT2 protein (accession# NP_543129), which is identical to rat sequence and 93% homologous to human. Compared to VGLUT2 (C-term) antibody, this immunogen sequence is further away from the very C-terminus of the protein
