Specificity :

This antibody recognises c-Myc, a proto-oncogenic transcription factor that plays a role in cell proliferation, apoptosis and the development of human tumours. The antibody 9E10 recognises recombinant proteins incorporating a c-Myc epitope tag. 9E10 also detects human c-Myc protein and a peptide in random coil configuration not as a helix.
