Background :
The anti BSA shows a single precipitin arc against bovine serum albumin and the albumin in bovine serum using immunoelectrophoresis. Fluorescein/protein molar ratio = 3-6
Immunogen :
Sheep were immunized with highly purified Bovine Serum Albumin in Freund's adjuvant. After multiple immunizations, serum was collected, antibodies were isolated by immunoaffinity chromatography.
