Background :
P84/N5-5E10 recognizes an 84 kDa nuclear matrix protein. Initially isolated by its interaction with the amino terminal region of the retinoblastoma protein, it has been used extensively as a nuclear-specific marker in both immunofluorescence and cell fractionation studies.
