Background :
This gene encodes fibronectin, a glycoprotein present in a soluble dimeric form in plasma, and in a dimeric or multimeric form at the cell surface and in extracellular matrix. Fibronectin is involved in cell adhesion and migration processes including embryogenesis, wound healing, blood coagulation, host defense, and metastasis. The gene has three regions subject to alternative splicing, with the potential to produce 20 different transcript variants. However, the full-length nature of some variants has not been determined. Native human fibronectin (matrix)
Specificity :
Recognises fibronectin in human and mouse tissues, specifically connective tissues and vessels. No reactivity with the soluble dimeric form of fibronectin (plasma fibronectin), but highly reactive with matrix fibronectin.

Phosphate buffered saline containing 0.09% Sodium Azide (NaN3)

Store at +4°C or at -20°C if preferred. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
