Recombinant human ACF1 Bromodomain (BAZ1A, WCRF180, accession Q9NRL2, amino acids 1412 to 1551) containing an N-terminal GST tag, expressed in E. coli. ACF1 is a component of the ACF complex, an ATP-dependent chromatin remodeling complex, that regulates spacing of nucleosomes. It is also part of the CHRAC complex which facilitates nucleosome sliding by the ACF complex and enhances ACF-mediated chromatin assembly. ACF1 may be involved in nuclear receptor-mediated repression of transcription through its interaction with NCOR1.
