Specificity :
Recognizes actin isotypes α and γ of skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscle. This antibody labels rhabdomyosarcomas, hemangiopericytomas, leiomyosarcomas and leiomyomas but does not react with non-myogenic sarcomas. It is nonreactive with other neoplasms such as carcinoma or lymphoma and with other mesenchymal and all epithelial cells, with the exception of myoepithelium.
