Background :
L-Ficolin (Ficolin-2) is an innate immunity pattern recognition molecule found in human serum. L-Ficolin binds to distinct pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMP) such as carbohydrates (GlcNAc), lipoteichoic acid and acetylated groups, thereby facilitating phagocytosis and activation of complement through the lectin route using the same serine proteases as mannose-binding lectin (MBL) named MASP (MBL-associated serine protease).

Ficolin-2, collectin
Immunogen :
Recombinant human L-ficolin.
