Product Description :

Antioxidant and antineoplastic. Lipoxygenase inhibitor (IC50=0.2, 30 and 30µM for 5-, 12- and 15-LO respectively) over cyclooxygenase (IC50=100µM). Inhibits rat epidermal and hepatic microsomal cytochrome P-450 (ID50=40µM). Stimulates the rapid retrograde movement of both Golgi stacks and the trans-Golgi network to the endoplasmatic reticulum (ER). Displays pleiotropic effects on cells, which include apoptosis, cell proliferation, differentiation and chemotaxis. Anticancer agent.
