This antibody has been successfully used in Western blot procedures to detect µ-calpain from human platelets and erythrocytes, bovine platelets, heart and skeletal muscle, and rat myoblasts, kidney, liver and spleen. Immunofluorescence staining of µ-calpain in porcine LLC-PK1 cells with ALX-804-050 results in diffuse cytoplasmic staining.
