Potentiates the activity of protein kinase C (PKC) by inhibiting the diacylglycerol metabolism. Inhibits diacylglycerol kinase without affecting phosphodiesterase or phosphatidyl inositol kinase. It inhibits human platelet DAG kinase in intact cells (IC50=3.6μM) and in isolated membranes (IC50=6.7μM).
