Background :
Immunoglobulin G (IgG) is an immunoglobulin monomer consisting of two (gamma) heavy chains and two light chains. Each IgG molecule contains two antigen binding domains and a single effector (Fc) domain. Assay Designs offers isotyping kits and antibodies in a variety of formats for the detection of human, mouse, rabbit, rat, sheep, and goat IgG.
Immunogen :
Purified rat IgG .
Specificity :
Based on immunoelectrophoresis and/or ELISA, the antibody reacts with whole molecule rat IgG. It also reacts with the light chains of other rat immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non-immunoglobulin serum proteins.
Buffer :
Liquid. In 0.005M sodium phosphate, pH 7.6, containing 0.125M sodium chloride, 7.5mg/mL BSA (IgG-free, protease-free), and 50% glycerol.
