Background :
ATM (Ataxia telangiectasia mutated) is a 350 kDa protein that has ionizing radiation (IR)-inducible protein kinase activity. ATM is mutated in Ataxia telangiectasia (AT) which is an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by acute cancer predisposition, telangiecstasia, sensitivity to ionizing radiation, and neuronal degeneration. ATM mediates efficient induction of a signaling network, which is responsible for the repair of the DBS damage and for cellular recovery and survival.
ALTnames :
Ataxia telangiectasia mutated
Immunogen :
Synthetic peptide corresponding to a portion of human ATM phosphorylated at Ser1981.
