Intercellular adhesion molecule 2 (ICAM-2, CD102) is a cell surface glycoprotein that is a part of the immunoglobulin superfamily. ICAM-2 is thought to act as a go-between during cell-cell adhesion interactions which are obligatory for immune system function. ICAM-2 may play a role in membrane to actin linkages. ICAM-2 may be a useful therapeutic target for oral squamous cell carcinoma.
