Transcriptional repressor CTCFL (CTCF-like protein) is a member of the CTCF zinc-finger protein family and plays an important role in gene imprinting in the male germline. It is predominantly expressed in spermatocytes in the testis but can also be found in tumors and cancer cell lines.
