Anti-TGFBR3, clone 1C5H11 Antibody
Cross Reactivity :
Human, Mouse
Background :
Transforming growth factor beta receptor type 3 (TGF-beta receptor type 3 or TGFR-3), also known as Betaglycan or Transforming growth factor beta receptor III (TGF-beta receptor type III), and encoded by the gene name TGFBR3, is a membrane proteoglycan that often functions as a co-receptor with other TGF-beta receptor superfamily members. Ectodomain shedding produces soluble TGFBR3, which may inhibit TGFB signaling. Decreased expression of this receptor has been observed in various cancers. TGFBR3 is extensively modified by glycosaminoglycan groups (GAG).
ALT Names :
Transforming growth factor beta receptor type 3, TGF-beta receptor type 3, TGFR-3, Betaglycan, Transforming growth factor beta receptor III, TGF-beta receptor type III, TGFBR3
Immunogen :
Purified recombinant fragment of human TGFBR3 expressed in E. Coli
Package Size :
100 µL
Uses :
Western Blotting, Flow Cytometry, ELISA
Storage :
Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt.
Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.
