Specificity :

Directed against integrin alphaV (CD51), MW 25 and 125 kDa in reduced and 150 kDa in unreduced from. It can form distinct complexes with beta 3 chain (CD61), integrin beta5 and integrin beta1 (CD29) subunits. CD51, in combination with CD61, is expressed on human platelets. It is also expressed on human monocytes and macrophages when CD51 is combined with beta 5 integrin. Platelet adhesion to vitronectin is inhibited by CD51.
