Specificity :

Porcine villin, chicken villin and villin from cellular extract of the intestinal cell line HT29 and human renal epithelial cells. Recognizes an antigen of molecular weight 58 kDa by immunoblot. Useful in the investigation on the differentiation of "brush border" epithelia. Also useful for studies of gastrointestinal cells in normal and tumoral tissue and cellular origin in human renal cell carcinoma.
