Product Description :
Milli-Mark™ Anti-CD57-FITC Antibody, clone TB01
Cross Reactivity :
Human
Background :
The antibody recognizes the CD57 carbohydrate epitope present on several surface molecules. In the nervous system this epitope is particularly prominent on myelin-associated glycoprotein (MAG) (Funaro, 1997). The eptope for TB01 is neuraminidase- and bromelaine-sensitive, but trypsin-resistant (Funaro, 1997). Anti-CD57, TBO1, was included in the Sixth International Workshop and Conference on Human Leucocyte Differentiation Antigens, and studies by a number of laboratories confirmed its reactivity with CD57 (Funaro, 1997).
