Immunogen :
Rat Thy-1
Specificity :
This antibody reacts with rat Thy-1 molecule which is found on rat thymocytes, brain, spinal cord, bone marrow, and other non-lmyphoid tissues, including breast epithelial/myoepithelial cells. It also binds to the mouse Thy-1.1 determinant. In strains expressing THY-1.1 (e.g. AKR and B10 mice) the antibody binds to thymocytes, brain, spinal cord and peripheral T lymphocytes. Strains which express the THY-1.2 determinant (e.g. BALB/C or CBA mice) do not react with this antibody. KNOWN SPECIES CROSS REACTIVITY: Cross-reacts with mouse Thy 1.1 determinant FUSION PARTNER: P3- NS1/1-AG4-1 myeloma cell line
