Anti-phospho-Smad1/Smad5/Smad8 Antibody, phospho-specific (Ser463/465)
Product Type :
Antibodies
Clonality :
Polyclonal Antibody
Gene ID :
Q15797
Host Name :
Rabbit
Antigen :
phospho-Smad1/Smad5/Smad8
Conjugate :
Affinity Purified
Product Description :
Anti-phospho-Smad1/Smad5/Smad8 Antibody, phospho-specific (Ser463/465)
Cross Reactivity :
Human;Mouse;Rat;Mink;Xenopus
Background :
Transcriptional modulator activated by BMP (bone morphogenetic proteins) type 1 receptor kinase. SMAD1 is a receptor-regulated SMAD (R-SMAD).
ALT Names :
Mothers against decapentaplegic homolog
Immunogen :
KLH-conjugated, synthetic phospho-peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Ser463/465 of human Smad5.
Specificity :
Recognizes Smad1 only when dually phosphorylated at Ser463 and Ser465, as well as phosphorylated Smad5 and Smad8 at the equivalent sites. This antibody does not crossreact with other Smad-related proteins.
Package Size :
100 µL
Uses :
Flow Cytometry;Immunocytochemistry;Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin);Western Blotting
Storage :
Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Do not aliquot antibody.
Handling Recommendations:
Upon first thaw, and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.
