Background :

Members of the protein kinase C family fall into three categories: conventional (PKC alpha, beta I, beta II, gamma), novel (delta, epsilon, eta, mu, theta), and atypical (lambda, zeta). Conventional PKC isoforms are dependent on calcium and diacylglycerol (DAG) for their activity, whereas novel PKC isoforms are calcium dependent, and atypical PKC isoforms are calcium and DAG independent.

Immunogen :

KLH-conjugated, synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal variable (V5) region, amino acids 726-737 (KGFSYFGEDLMP), of mouse Protein Kinase C Epsilon (PKCε). The immunizing sequence is identical in human, mouse, rat and rabbit.

Storage :

Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt. Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt, and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerol containing solutions to become frozen during storage.
