Product Description :
Anti-phospho-eNOS/NOS III (Thr495), Clone 64-10C-3
Cross Reactivity :
Bovine, Human, Mouse, Rat, Rabbit
Species Summary :
Proven to react with bovine. Predicted to react with human, mouse, rat, and rabbit based on 100% sequence homology.
Background :
Endothelial NOS (eNOS), also known as Nitric oxide synthase 3 (NOS3) or constitutive NOS (cNOS), is a nitric oxide synthase. It generates NO in blood vessels and is involved with regulating vascular function. A constitutive Ca2+ dependent NOS provides a basal release of NO. eNOS is associated with plasma membranes surrounding cells and the membranes of Golgi bodies within cells.
ALT Names :
Constitutive NOS, Endothelial NOS, endothelial nitric oxide synthase, nitric oxide synthase 3 (endothelial cell)
Immunogen :
KLH-conjugated linear peptide corresponding to human eNOS/NOS III phosphorylated at Thr495.
Specificity :
This antibody recognizes eNOS/NOS III phosphorylated at Thr495.
Purity :
Protein A purfied
Package Size :
100 uL
Uses :
WB
Storage :
Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt.Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerol containing solutions to become frozen during storage.
