Product Description :
Anti-Grb14 Antibody, clone 24
Cross Reactivity :
Rat;Human;Mouse
Background :
Grb14 is a 58 kDa protein that interacts in vivo with both the insulin receptor (IR) and Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 1 (FGFR1). The function of Grb14 is poorly understood, but overexpression of Grb14 suppresses insulin-induced DNA and glycogen synthesis, suggesting that it may be a modulator of IR signaling.

GRB14 adapter protein ;growth factor receptor-bound protein 14
Immunogen :
Synthetic peptide corresponding to human Grb14 amino acids 79-229.
Specificity :
This antibody specifically reacts within the Grb14 amino acid sequence 79-229 of the human sequence.
