Doesn't work on Xenopus, betta fish, chicken, shark or Haplochromis burtoni. Works well on zebrafish embryos/larva and adults. Stains (4% paraformaldehyde, 4ºC, O/N; cryostat) the surface of neural cells, especially in neuropil and fiber tracts. Doesn't work for western blotting.
