H36 recognizes multiple proteins. The Cystein proteinase 7 (CP7) appears to be the main epitope of H36. H36 is also a marker of multilamellar bodies (MLB) where a different protein CDD (a protein containing a cytidine/deoxycytidylate deaminase (CDD) zinc-binding region) seems to be the target ( see [PMID: 27340834] for more details).
