CG1 recognizes the fast-migrating component of gizzard tropomyosin, skeletal beta-tropomyosin and alpha-tropomyosin, and chicken embryo fibroblasts tropomyosin. Recognizes Human and rat Tm1 (encoded by TPM2) and cross-reacts with Tm4 (TPM4) on western blots [PMID: 22069507], and has been reported to be specific to Tpm2.1 [PMID: 27112294; 26147585].
