Additional Information :
The Neurogenic locus Notch protein functions as a transmembrane receptor for membrane-bound ligands Delta and Serrate to regulate neurodevelopment. Upon ligand activation, the intracellular domain (NICD) is released from the cell membrane, and forms a transcriptional activator complex with the Suppressor of hairless protein.
