Depositor Notes (Special Instructions) :
This antibody recognizes both the engrailed and invected gene products of Drosophila. The antibody is useful for examining the patterning of segmentation from the cellular blastoderm stage onward. Staining is also seen in a large number of CNS neurons including most of the median neuroblast progeny as well as a small number of PNS neurons. The antibody doesn't recognize engrailed in mouse, human, sea urchin and Manduca sexta (moth).
