Recombinant Human April extracellular domain (N-terminus fused with human IgG1Fc) produced in mammalian cells contains 373 amino acids with predicted MW 41.87 KD x 2 (dimmer) and 8 cysteines (Fc contains 6). It also has 2 N-link glycosylation sites with MW increase up to 10 KD.April competes with AGP3 binding to its receptor TACI and BCMA on T and B lymphoma cells , resulting in stimulation of proliferation of primary human and mouse B and T Cells. Well-documented antibodies are available to characterize human April protein.
