It was recombined with a Hexa-his N-Terminus and purified by Nicolumn.MW=19.3 KD.IL-1F7 binds to interleukin-18 receptor (IL-18R) receptor but not to IL-1 receptor. That Could be a new player in the inflammatory and immune responses mediated by the IL-18/IL-18R axis. IL1F7 isoform B were expressed in testis, colon, placenta, lung and lymph node. It was reported that isoform B were expressed in kidney.
