WB: The detection limit for Kv2.1 is approximately 0.25ng/lane under reducing conditions. Tested Species: In-house tested species with positive results. By Heat: Boiling the paraffin sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH6.0, for 20mins is required for the staining of formalin/paraffin sections. Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end users.

E.coli-derived human Kv2.1 recombinant protein (Position: V687-I858). Human Kv2.1 shares 88% amino acid (aa) sequences identity with both mouse and rat Kv2.1.

Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.

Immunogen affinity purified.

Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.

At -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Boster provides a series of assays reacted with primary antibodies. Antibody can be supported by chemiluminescence kit EK1002 in WB, supported by SA1022 in IHC(P) and IHC(F).

KCNB1, also known as Kv2.1 or DRK1, is a protein that, in humans, is encoded by the KCNB1 gene. It is mapped to 20q13.13. KCNB1 is found in cardiomyocytes, skeletal muscles, vascular smooth muscles, placental vasculature, retina, and pancreatic beta-cells. It can mediates the voltage-dependent potassium ion permeability of excitable membranes. KCNB1 represent the most complex class of voltage-gated ion channels from both functional and structural standpoints. Their diverse functions include regulating neurotransmitter release, heart rate, insulin secretion, neuronal excitability, epithelial electrolyte transport, smooth muscle contraction, and cell volume.
