WB: The detection limit for chromogranin A is approximately 0.25ng/lane under reducing conditions. Tested Species: In-house tested species with positive results. Predicted Species: Species predicted to be fit for the product based on sequence similarities. By Heat: Boiling the paraffin sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH6.0, for 20mins is required for the staining of formalin/paraffin sections. Other applications have not been tested. Optimal dilutions should be determined by end users.

E.coli-derived human Chromogranin A recombinant protein (Position: K321-G457). Human Chromogranin A shares 80% and 82% amino acid (aa) sequences identity with mouse and rat Chromogranin A, respectively.

Each vial contains 5mg BSA, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.

Immunogen affinity purified.

Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.

At -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

CHGA, also known as CGA or chromogranin A, is an acidic protein costored and coreleased with catecholamines from storage granules in the adrenal medulla. CHGA is a member of the granin family of neuroendocrine secretory protein, It is located in secretory vesicles of neurons and endocrine cells. In humans, CHGA protein is encoded by the CHGA gene, and it is mapped to 14q32.12. CHGA gene product is a precursor to three biologically active peptides: vasostatin, pancreastatin, and parastatin. These peptides negatively modulate the neuroendocrine function of the releasing cell (autocrine) or nearby cells (paracrine).
