Reconstitution :

Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.

Storage :

At -20˚C for one year. After reconstitution, at 4˚C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20˚C for a longer time. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

Background :

Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase G, also known as CASP10 or PPIase G, is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the PPIG gene. The International Radiation Hybrid Mapping Consortium mapped the PPIG gene to chromosome 2q31.1. PPIases accelerate the folding of proteins. It catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides. This gene may be implicated in the folding, transport, and assembly of proteins. PPIG may play an important role in the regulation of pre-mRNA splicing.
