Application Notes :

This clone was tested for ICC using HeLa cells and SH-SY5Y cells fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with either methanol or Triton X-100. Both methods resulted in specific, but weak GATA4 staining. We therefore do not recommend this clone for the application.While this clone detected GATA4 by WB, it also showed a very weak affinity for the protein. Because of this, we do not recommend this clone for the application.This clone failed IHC testing due to lack of specificity for GATA4. We therefore do not recommend this clone for the application.This clone is not compatible with our True Nuclear™ Transcription Factor and Cyto-Fast™ buffer sets. We recommend using using True-Phos™ Perm Buffer (Cat. No. 425401) for ICFC.;
