This antibody was raised against purified bovine brain cytoplasmic dynein.

Application Notes :

This antibody is effective in immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunoblotting and immunoprecipitation (IP). *Predicted MW = 74 kD. This antibody is known not to react in squid and nematode. Clone 74.1 reacts with all isoforms from both rat IC74 genes. The antigenic site is believed to be located in the conserved amino-terminal 60 amino acids. Clone 74.1 has been shown to inhibit the activity of cytoplasmic dynein.
