This monoclonal antibody was raised against affinity purified cre-recombinase and can be used to determine the success of gene manipulations in transgenic animals.

Application Notes :

This antibody is effective in immunoblotting (WB). This product is useful in western analysis when combined with our anti-Biotin antibody (PRB-167P). Cre-recombinase is a 38kD DNA recombinase derived from the P1 bacteriophage. It is highly specific for a 34 bp DNA sequence (loxP) found in P1 DNA.
