This recombinant antibody is derived from the original clone 2G10. We sequenced the complementarity-determining regions (CDRs) from the 2G10 hybridoma and grafted them into a mouse IgG1, κ Fc framework. Clone 2G10 specifically recognizes the major sigma factor across multiple bacterial species but shows no reactivity against Borrelia burgdorferi. Clone 2G10 is known to target epitope 470-486 in the major sigma factor of E. coli.;
