A small portion of the protein in the lyophilized sample may be dimerized (< 5%). To remove dimers, we recommend adding DTT (25 µg/mL) or TCEP (29 µg/mL). DTT should not exceed 0.5mM to avoid peptide degradation and DTT adducts. TCEP should not be exceed 0.2 mM to avoid forming adducts originating from TCEP excess.Storing the protein at 4°C and freeze-thaw cycles increases the chance of peptide dimerization.;
