A small portion of the protein in the lyophilized sample may be dimerized (< 5%). To remove dimers, we recommend adding DTT (25 µg/mL) or TCEP (29 µg/mL). DTT should not exceed 0.5 mM to avoid peptide degradation and DTT adducts. TCEP should not be exceed 0.2 mM to avoid forming adducts originating from TCEP excess.Storing the protein at 4°C and freeze-thaw cycles increases the chance of peptide dimerization.;
