Measles (Rubeola), Grad 2 antigen. Optimally infected cells are disrupted by sonication and then subjected to low speed centrifugation. The clarified suspension is concentrated by crossflow ultrafiltration. The resulting antigen preparation contains a high concentration of virus and viral components as well as some cellular materials suspended in MEM. This antigen can be used “as is” in a variety of proven immunoassay procedures or may be further purified for specific applications.

Antigen in ELISA. Sonication immediately before use is recommended to ensurethat the product is uniform.
