Expression of nAChRα2 in rat deep cerebellar nucleus - Immunohistochemical staining of immersion-fixed, free floating rat brain frozen sections using Anti-Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor α2 (CHRNA2) (extracellular) Antibody (#ANC-002), (1:100). Staining reveals expression of nAChRα2 (red) in cells with neuronal outline (arrows point at some examples) in the red nucleus. DAPI is used as the counterstain (blue).

Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor α2/CHRNA2 (extracellular) Blocking Peptide (#BLP-NC002) is the original antigen used for immunization during Anti-Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor α2 (CHRNA2) (extracellular) Antibody (#ANC-002) generation. The blocking peptide binds and 'blocks' Anti-Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptor α2/CHRNA2 (extracellular) primary antibody, this makes it a good negative reagent control to help confirm antibody specificity in western blot and immunohistochemistry applications. This control is also often called a pre-adsorption control.
