Background :
Peanut agglutinin (PNA) is a plant lectin protein, derived from the fruits of Arachis hypogaea. Lectin proteins recognise and bind specific sugar sequences in carbohydrates. Peanut agglutinin binds the carbohydrate sequence Gal-beta(1-3)-GalNAc.
Storage :
For several weeks at 4°C with addition of 0.03% Sodium Azide. For long time storage, aliquot and store product at -20°C. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is three years from the date of shippment if antibody is stored properly.
